Stripped and Polished Retro/Industrial Metal IKEA locker cabinet - Aluminium IKEA PS cabinet stripped of its red coating to provide a vintage/retro/industrial and rustic feel. Although a very modern/current item the stripping process has produced a much sought after retro/industrial and rustic look. It has to be said, the stripping process was particularly drawn out as it turned out to be very difficult removing the red pigmented epoxy/polyester powder coating! Quite a different and considerably more difficult task than removing regular paint! However, it was worth the considerable effort as the finished piece really does resemble a retro and vintage piece of furniture. I've re-listed the item after deciding to improve its appearance by polishing the surface area resulting in a more stylish reflective/shiny finish. The item is lockable and comes with both left and right door keys. Measurements: Width: 119 cm Depth: 40 cm Height: 63 cm Weight: 25kg approx IKEA recommend that the cabinet can take a max. load of 60 kg. The item is for collection. However, I can deliver to within a 60 mile radius of TS20 for petrol costs. UK mainland delivery can be arranged with the courier TNT costing £70 for a next day UK mainland delivery.
