This obviously depends on the exchange rate The mobile home can be found in one of the best parks in Spain which is kept in pristine condition (THIS IS RATED AS A FIVE STAR SITE) near the typical Spanish village of Alameda. The village has good shops, restaurants, bars and two banks. There are about 100 static homes (mainly Brits) on site and many of the people live here all the year round. There are no restrictions like other parks where you are only allowed to stay for ten months of the year. Unlike mobile homes in some British parks you don’t have to change your mobile home every ten years. The residents are mainly over the age of fifty. Although owners do encourage their families to visit mainly during the school holidays. The park has a beautiful swimming pool and a great club house which has lots of activities during the week such as, quizzes, bingo, line dancing, and film night’s .The club also have entertainers come up from the coast most weekends (free entry). For the more energetic, the park has its own bowls club and really encourages new members. Many of the owners belong to fishing clubs, and there is Antequera golf course fifteen minutes away. There is an area to play Boules /Petang. The management of the park keep the place spotless with regular maintenance. Should any problems develop in your home the park has its own maintenance team. The clubhouse has Sky sports including football on the two televisions, table tennis, and pool table. Sunday lunches are available from the club house. My home is approximately one hundred and fifty metres from the club house, so is nice and peaceful, for those who prefer tranquillity. There is a local English market in the nearby village of Mollina every Wednesday. There is also a local market twice a week in Alameda. A short drive away to the east is the famous Alhambra Palace in Granada, and to the North we have the ancient city of Cordoba in which you will find the only church in the world within a Mosque, and then to the South East there is the fantastic Rhonda, holiday home of some of Britain’s favourite writers. (Ernest Hemmingway amongst some of them). If you want a change, three hours’ drive away and you’re in Portugal. If you feel the need to explore, Gibraltar is about an hour and fifty minutes away. My home is all ready to move in to (just bring hand luggage, and cash of course) we will even leave the bed linen and towels if you require. The site fees are paid until JULY 2015
